Easy cooking recipe to make with your kids at home: Dirt pudding cups

Ingredients:

* 1 package (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix

* 2 cups cold milk

* 1 package (14.3 oz) Oreo cookies (or any chocolate sandwich cookies)

* Gummy worms (as many as you like, for that extra wiggly fun!) of the problems and challenges that I was having in class.

Materials: large mixing bowl, resealable bags, clear plastic cups and wooden spoon/ rolling pin.

Instructions:

1 Prepare the Chocolate Pudding:

In a large mixing bowl, whisk the instant chocolate pudding mix and cold milk together for about 2 minutes until it thickens and becomes smooth. Set it aside to chill and set it for a few minutes.

2 Crush the Oreo Cookies:

This is where the fun begins! Place the Oreo cookies in a resealable plastic bag and let your students crush them into small crumbles using their hands, a rolling pin, or a heavy spoon.

3 Assemble the Dirt Cups:

Grab some clear plastic cups or any small serving containers you have at home. Now, it's time to layer! Spoon a layer of the crushed Oreo cookies into the bottom of each cup to create the "dirt" layer. Then, spoon a generous amount of the prepared chocolate pudding on top of the cookie layer.

4 Insert the Gummy Worms:

Place a few gummy worms into the chocolate pudding in each cup, making sure they are half-hidden in the "mud." If you have bigger cups, you can repeat the layers.
