Acorns & Seedlings

Little Oaks & Big Oaks
This is the stage that children begin understanding concepts of sharing, listening, speaking, physical movement and even potty training! We teach these important social and emotional skills so that our children learn to work with others, make friends, push through challenges and figure out problems.
Children who are aged 4 or 5 will participate in Oak Tree’s School Readiness program. Using research-based teaching practices and the standards linked to the Common Core, our program provides a strong foundation of learning as children prepare to enter elementary school.

Kindergarten
Like Oak Tree's programs for preschool and school age children, the kindergarten uses experience-based, hands-on learning to grow academic, social and emotional skills. Our Kindergarten's small ratios lends to responsive teaching and a safe socially distanced setting.
Our Common Core informed curriculum uses research-based strategies that engage children and pique curiosity, inquiry and self-motivation for learning.

During the pandemic, Oak Tree will provide much needed services for families who may be working in home or remotely. We understand that juggling work and school may present challenges.
When children return to school, we offer exciting programming for off-track school periods and transportation to several schools in the area.

What Parents Think
"My daughter has grown and developed a larger vocabulary thanks to the daycare awareness. Now we spend our time counting and add items on walks while she talks about her day at school. She always try's to say bye to Mrs. C before she leaves which is always a good sign with the administration."
