An experience-based  approach to learning!

Our Mission

Oak Tree Learning Center invests time into building factual knowledge, essential skills and independence.  We understand that learning calls for both and understanding of knowledge but, more importantly, means to use what's learned.

We address the needs of all types of learners from all types of backgrounds with our highly effective experience-based curriculum.

Our Programs

Infant care

Ages 6 - 18  months

At our preschool, your child's well-being is our top priority. We maintain rigorous health and safety standards with low teacher-to-child ratios. Each child has a personalized support plan, updated every four months to ensure their unique needs are met.

We place a strong emphasis on nurturing your child and creating an environment that fosters independence, learning, and speech development. Our teachers work closely with parents to assist with sleep training, diapering, and overall child development.

Acorns & Seedlings

Little Oaks & Big Oaks

This is the stage that children begin understanding concepts of sharing, listening, speaking, physical movement and even potty training! We teach these important social and emotional skills  so that our children learn to work with others, make friends, push through challenges and figure out problems.

Children who are aged 4 or 5 will participate in Oak Tree’s School Readiness program. Using research-based teaching practices and the standards linked to the Common Core, our program provides a strong foundation of learning as children prepare to enter elementary school.

Like Oak Tree's programs for preschool and school age children, the kindergarten uses experience-based, hands-on learning to grow academic, social and emotional skills.  Our Kindergarten's small ratios lends to responsive teaching and a safe socially distanced setting.

Our Common Core informed curriculum uses research-based strategies that engage children and pique curiosity, inquiry and self-motivation for learning.

School Age Care

Care during the School Year

When children return to school, we offer exciting programming for off-track school periods including Thanksgiving, Winter, Spring Break and Summer break and offer transportation to several schools in the area.

What Parents Think

"My daughter has grown and developed a larger vocabulary thanks to the daycare awareness. Now we spend our time counting and add items on walks while she talks about her day at school. She always try's to say bye to Mrs. C before she leaves which is always a good sign with the administration."
